VICTORIA TU- MPH, MAOM, LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST, CERTIFIED CHINESE HERBALIST

Victoria Tu is a licensed oriental medicine practitioner who has been certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Victoria is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She received her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX.

Victoria is a general practitioner and has practiced acupuncture and herbal medicine in a variety of clinical setting including: MD Anderson Cancer center, Houston Methodist Hospital, and in several private practices. She earned a master’s degree from Harvard school of Public Health before she devoted her career to Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has advanced postgraduate training in acupuncture and herbal medicine, as well as over 10 years of experience in medical Tai-Chi and meditation. This experience provides an excellent background for her to integrate Western medicine and Oriental medicine to provide better treatment results. She guides patients through lifestyle adjustments and helps them with a wellness development for better health maintenance throughout their lives.

Victoria is committed to bringing you better health and a better life through her treatments. She specializes in OB-GYN issues, internal medicine, neurological disorders and pain management.

Stimson, Ariel

ARIEL STIMSON – MAOM, LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST, CERTIFIED CHINESE HERBALIST

Ariel Stimson is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Massachusetts, as well as being board certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Oregon School of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

Ariel has a strong background in Western Herbalism, in addition to Chinese herbal medicine. She attended the top school in the country, the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM), and worked as a supervisor at their herbal medicinary, formulating raw bulk and granule Chinese Herbal Formulas and selling patents. Before she devoted her career to Traditional Chinese Medicine, she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst for pre-med majoring in Psychology with a Neuroscience concentration.

She has practiced at the Hooper Detox Center in Portland, offering community style ear acupuncture, and has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) style acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, teishin, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, and Tuina and Shiatsu massage. Moreover, she has explored the realm of sound healing with patients, using a banjo during treatment sessions. Her specialties include emotional/mental/spiritual health and wellbeing, addiction and trauma support, orthopedics and pain relief, neurological health and elder care.  Ariel believes in holistic and patient-centered healthcare, and understands the power of deep listening in offering compassionate care.

SUZAN DOAN, CERTIFIED MEDITATION AND GENTLE YOGA TEACHER

Suzan Doan is a meditator and gentle yoga teacher who has been certified by the Sakya Institute of the Yoga Alliance. Her long-term meditation training was with master Migmar Tseten of the Sakya Institute in Cambridge since 1999.

She received a 200-hour yoga teaching certification with David Magone from Pranavayu in 2015. Suzan holds workshops in meditation and pranayama at various yoga studios in Cambridge, Groton, Needham, in addition to guiding semi-private sessions in yoga and meditation. Her main interest is to balance mind and body through meditation, breath work, and yoga. She helped organize three mind training events hosting in New York and at the Wang Theater in Boston.

Her former career was in finance and management. She received her MBA from Bentley University and held various managerial positions with W.R. Grace and Raytheon. She believes both in the traditional holistic way to long term healing and balancing energy of Eastern Medicine as well as the constant evolving way to health treatments of Western Medicine. She has recuperated from several injuries through the continuous practice of meditation, acupuncture, cupping therapy, yoga and physical therapy.
